It Is Our Time

“So he's not legit. What are we supposed to do? What is the proper response?”  These questions were asked of me in response to my Dems Admit Obama’s Not Eligible post.  I have thought about these questions quite a bit.  While thinking, two developments have happened.  First, Judge Terry Lewis of Florida punted.  He issued a deeply flawed ruling stating that since Mr. Barry S. B. H. Obama was “born in the United States” he is a natural born citizen.  That assumption is huge since B.S.B.H.O. refuses to present creditable evidence of the simple fact of his birth.   The second event is, of course, is the copout of Mr. John (Love Me Please) Roberts and the rest of the Supreme Court on the healthcare debacle.  The writing is on the wall in giant spray painted graffiti in the colorful style of the deepest Chicago ghetto.  The socialist and the communist have our beloved country by the throat like a coiling snake and they ain’t gonna let go ‘till she is dead.  The rule of law has passed and we are now in the every man for himself mode.

Our proper response?  We embrace this cross as one we deserve.  We fall back upon the two greatest commandments, to love God with your whole heart, mind and being, and to love your neighbor as yourself.  The future will be hard.  Expect a significant and very noticeable lowering of our standard of living.  Expect government goons to intrude into your private affairs with the tact and compassion of a schoolyard bully.  Expect shortages, higher taxes and fees on everything (Thanks a lot Roberts!).  Expect the currency to collapse and inflation to roar through our economy like a wildfire.  Through it all, love God.  Thank Him for this time to truly demonstrate your love of Him with patient suffering.  Share in your scarcity, help others and never lose sight of the goal: To be in heaven with God.  Many of us are not going to survive the coming times with our bodies but we will, by this very gift of times, survive our passage through the world.  Many will not.  They, who have placed their hearts on the treasures of the world, will despair.  I can already hear the screams of the future when all those 401ks vaporize.

This is the time of Catholic mettle.  This is the time when the shallowness of protestant theology will be exposed as insignificant.  This is the time when we will guide so many back to the Barque of Peter.  This is the time we were born for!  Vive Christo Rey!

The Catholic Fire Escape

In the weird logic of government bureaucrats, in their attempts to create health benefits from thin air I have been given a moral solution, an escape.  My problem lies squarely on the contraception mandate.  That is, I and every other Catholic cannot co-pay into a system that universally provides contraception to whoever would have it.  It turns out that these fools have created a hole in their line which we can all run through while doing a good work towards destroying this evil system.

We simply drop our health care.  I know, I know, the risk of getting a financially debilitating illness is why we carry this expensive item.  Our beloved government took care of that, the exalted wise ones.  They made the pre-existing condition restriction illegal.  If you get sick in the future, they have to sign you up at your request, and cannot charge you more than your healthy rate.  Really!  But what about the penalty…(ooops!...sorry Mr. Roberts)…I mean, tax that we must pay for not having health coverage?  It appears that the rate of “tax” on noncompliance is actually less than the health premiums.  Win! Win!  Messrs. Obama and Roberts are truly our friends!

Seriously fellow Catholics, these are the conditions.  I am now dropping my coverage.  When they come after me later with the penalty that would be involuntary on my part, thus will not be a sin.  It is true that this program is unsustainable.  The cost will skyrocket as everyone figures this out and our health industry will be destroyed and no one will have any coverage for anything.  Yes, they will squirm and adjust so as to bleed whatever money they can from us as the economic realities bite.  So again, there is nothing to lose.  Our duty lies in sitting on this thing with our collective body weight to help it fail as quickly as possible.

Dems Admit Obama’s Not Eligible

Arrrgh!  Grrrrrr! Grabnabbit!  After numerous court cases, almost in every state, it comes down to this.  Obama has never shown a valid birth certificate and most certainly cannot.  The cases get dismissed by the judges not because Obama does satisfactorily answer the charge, but rather, the excuse that the plaintiffs weren’t “injured” by the possibility of his ineligibility.  Arrrgh!  Grrrrrr! Grabnabbit!  This has happened so many times that now the democrats aren’t even fighting the charge anymore.  In fact they now say that it doesn’t matter what the Constitution says on the qualifications but rather that the people want Obama regardless.  Arrrgh!  Grrrrrr! Grabnabbit!  ...and the judges, who are supposed to be a check against such unconstitutional actions, blithely go along!  This is treason!

Obama's Desperation

Florida Judge Terry Lewis has before him a case that centers on Obama's eligibility.  The Constitution requires that the president be a “natural born citizen”.  In today’s anything means whatever you want it to mean standards it seems quaint to worry about the strict definition of the natural born citizen conditional.  Shoot, Bill Clinton event tried to lend ambiguity to the definition of the word “is”.  Turns out that the Supreme Court has ruled on this specific question in Minor v. Happersett.  To be a citizen one may do that several ways.  To be a natural born citizen one must be born of two legal citizens.  Obama’s father was never a United States citizen.

Pray that Judge Lewis rules with honor and justice.

Waving A Stick At Gathering Wolves

Homo-sexuals allied in strength with the insane court judges are closing their vicious circle ever tighter around the Christian people. This case in New Mexico actually affirms a whacky “right” of a homo-sexual to demand a business owner to violate his Christian conscience in the course of his business.

We really need to wake up and get righteously mad. Being a Christian does not mean to always make nice and get along, no matter what. It means to live and defend the true teachings of Christ and if that requires us to run homo-sexuals out of our stores with knotted ropes, so be it.

No Discrimination Here...

This past Monday I went to the Henrico County Government Center to vote absentee for the Republican Primary scheduled for Tuesday June 12.  I was shocked (mildly) by the clerk's instant demand to see my ID.  Whaaa?!  Holder the phone here!  I even challenged the request by countering that the Attorney General of the United States has been emphatically noted to say that asking voters for ID is illicit.  She wasn't in the least impressed.  "Who?", she asked.  "Eric Holder", I said again.  "Well, you gotta have an ID." , was her unperturbed response.

Maybe I just misunderstood the AG's statement.  The no ID requirement only applies to Democrats.
