Dear United States Government:


            January 12, 2013

Dear Mr. Obama, Mr. Vice-President, United States Senators, United States Representatives, United States Justices, Officers of the United States Government, and any other interested party who works for the United States Government in any official capacity:


I am a private citizen of the United States.  More accurately, I am a private citizen of the Commonwealth of Virginia.  I work in the private sector and have held my current job over twenty years.  I have a wife, children and a warm home.  I pay any and all of a myriad of taxes, fees, tolls and assessments without complaint.  I observe any law that I know about, and truly wish for our communities to be peaceful.  I love my fellow citizens, even those with whom I have markedly different opinions on political matters.  I wish no one harm.  I am an American!  I am fiercely proud of what our country has accomplished in the past two hundred and fifty years in the areas of relieving the harder realities of the human condition, not only here in this country, but around the world.  Our forebears and fellow living citizens have made the world a better place through the drumbeat of liberty; the idea that every person who works, contributes, and does no harm is deserving of the individual dignity that God merits him.  That same dignity is the basis of private property, the extension of the man, the product of his labor, and it is his sole responsibility to use it justly and with charity.  I read the Bill of Rights with tears in my eyes, thinking of the severe suffering it took to get those protections onto a ratified sheet of paper.  Today, ladies and gentlemen, I am mad as hell…mad as a man can be, at you.  Your performance over the past twenty four years has been a disgrace, a travesty and worst of all, a nullification of the blood, struggles, and sorrows of our honored history.


You have taxed us punitively.  You have debased our wealth through continual printing of paper promissory notes you have the nerve to call “money”.  You have intentionally let decades of inflation steal the labors of our parents.  You have borrowed insanely, without restraint, while signing our names, our children’s names and our grand-children’s names to the bond.  You have written “laws” that cry to heaven for vengeance.  You have promoted the most unspeakable sins within our youth, and have impeded our efforts to correctly form them.  You have murdered our children, both the unborn, in their bodies and the born, in their spirits.  You have catered to the most base of our people, the lazy, the shiftless, and the criminal by giving them our hard paid dollars while you have attempted to build fences around us all; reducing every good citizen to the lowest common denominator, that of an untrustworthy barn animal.  You have put petty and insurmountable obstacles in our way as we struggled to provide for ourselves.  You have endangered the safety of our sovereign nation by consorting with every rogue despot around the world, buying personal favors with our dollars.  You have dismissed as trivial each and every one of the rights of our people cited in the Bill of Rights.  You have flown large airplanes incessantly and lived lavishly while telling our people of your continual need to spend even more monies.  You have destroyed our health care market while exempting yourselves for a better taxpayer funded system.  You have ruined our financial markets endangering what little we were able to save in spite of you.  You have brought our country to the brink of financial meltdown; a meltdown which will bring horrible suffering from within and without.  You have undermined our Christian based judicial system while embracing every flawed communistic theory imaginable.  You have violated your oath to God to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.  Finally, and this is the one you will personally suffer the most for in the eternal years to come, you have turned our Christian nation away from the One True God and have fornicated with pagans and have forced their false religions upon us, while denigrating our sacred beliefs.


“That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government…”
(Emphasis mine)

You may recognize the words above, but by your actions, I doubt it.  It is an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence.  As Mr. Jefferson and the other founders cited, we are more disposed to suffer than to retaliate against abuses.  That may be our charged responsibility in this biblical mess we are in.  Perhaps, if our people had reined you in much earlier, before you could cause such systemic damage, we would not be in such crisis.

Now, you want our guns.  Now you want us to surrender our last possible hold on your juvenile lust for power and other’s property.  Now you want us to meekly submit to your care and judgment concerning our best interests, notwithstanding your dismal record.  Now you want us to mingle with those hoodlums you created without the ability to protect ourselves, while you use our money to pay for personal armed guards.  Now you want us to make the same fatal error that was made by tens of millions of violently killed citizens of every continent in just the past one hundred years, for the same lame lies.  Now you want us to quietly submit to servitude.

You bear a severe and most grave responsibility for the coming times and turmoil.  Your obstinate perseverance to failed socialist policies, policies which have only lead to suffering, bloodshed and national collapse to any country who has ever tried them, will be attached to you like a millstone around your neck when you face our one and true God of Justice.  I pray for you all and implore you to turn back to Him before it is too late...for you.
